...And loving it! I read the more important posts in AJATT blog and it got me a huge boost of confidence. Amazing, really. I know what I'll do when I lose my psychological strenght, yay for that.
I'm still reviewing, I'm now on kanji 571. The last kanji I learned for real was the kanji for "genius", frame 681. Can't wait to get there!
Also, I'm following Khatzu's advice on listening a lot to japanese. I'm listening to Genki's audio lessons (dialog, vocabulary and exercices on grammar), and it is quite usefull since it's the things I already know so it's kinda like a training. I intend, however (when my grandma's house computer comes) to download some podcasts and all kind of japanese listening stuff. My problem is that my parents are divorced and I'm only with one at a time (one day at dad's, next day at mum's, etcetera) and it's kinda stupid of me to be listening to japanese instead of being talking to them, since each one is alone |:
...Nevertheless, I'll be going to college soon, and will be alone most of the time (though I might end up living with a friend), not on the weekends, when I come home, well, in college I'll make sure I listen to a lot of japanese and mandarin. And will study to the library because it's more quiet. As you may already know, I aim to graduate in East Asian studies (Mandarin as major, Japanese as minor) and that will take me some japanese studying time because of the other subjects I'll have, such as Mandarin, History, Culture, Economics etc.
Well, with my dad I listen to japanese music, though I'm a little sick of the music I hear, because it's always the same (I seriously need to donload more songs, a lot). Also, when I work out I listen to japanese music (yesterday I tried to listen to a THK podcast on learning japanese - portuguese brazilian version - but that thing just didn't motivated me, I had to change to music otherwise I'd loose the strenght to work out.
Well, I still don't know what will be my schedule for tomorow (if I work out on the morning or in the afternoon - I prefer in the afternoon, I don't get as tired as in the morning), but one thing's for sure. RTK BABY! And I want to start Genki0s lesson 12 too! It's a BIG lesson, with lots os exercises.
See if I have the time!
