Did I mention that I only hadn't a full grade because I forgot to make an exercise? Also, today I made a listening test, my teacher read a text 3 times, slowly, but the test was a little confusing, it would have been easier if I had understood what to do from the beggining, I only woke up when she was reading the second time. And of course got stressed out. I know I'll have at least 2 wrong answers. After the listening test I had an oral test, I had to tranlate 2 sentences and answer a question. This one was easy. Kuniko sensei also told me my japanese was excelent (it is, compared with most of the class), I use a lot of kanji on the tests (thanks Heisig <3) and use furigana so they know that I know how to write the word in kana. And that I need to get a better pronunciation.
In the written test I got the higher grade on my class (and it could have been 20!!! >.<), there was a 19.4, the second best one.
I'm now on my laptop, but I studied chinese in the afternoon and will do it again within a few minutes. I want to study japanese too, though I think I will have no time to do so.
I found out a few days ago that I hate to review through Anki. It's so boring! I'd rather learn from books, don't take me wrong. I don't care if i don't look like a native speacking, after all, what would someone expect from any and student learning a language?! I'll try nevertheless to listen to japanese/chinese all the time. And I have TVUplayer on my laptop, that way I can see chinese and japanese televison (though I only have SeebitTV, a Kobe local channel, -_ - ). Do you know were I can watch japanese/chinese TV online (other than TVUPlayer, of course)??
さよなら。
Treat programs like Anki as a tool. The idea is to spend less time doing the boring review process than if you were to manually try to review everything you wanted to remember.
ReplyDeleteI'd recommend sticking with Anki! But for your own sanity, only put in information that you a) want to remember, b) is _interesting_ to you, and c) has already been pushed into your short-term memory. When you're reviewing, if you find a card that's boring, delete it!
Anki can be a torture sometimes
ReplyDeleteI watch Japanese and Korean TV with these programs. The first one is only japanese TV, the second one Japanese, Korean, Chinese and others

TV Ants http://www.tvants.com
I'll try that Anonymous, thanks for the tip. Thing is, I want to know everything, I like to learn everything, but hum, I just find it boring anyway. I really like doing exercises from Genki :P
ReplyDeleteDisorder Heaven, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
