Hot news...!

I'm officially a university student! Asian Studies!!!

I ordered from Amazon "An integrated approach to intermediate japanese", its workbook and a chinese grammar book. When they arrive I'll post some pics. Today I had no time to study, I'm now finishing my reviews.

I'm still in shock.

  1. Nice! When do you start class?

That book looks pretty cool. You'll have to keep everyone up to date on how you study it and what you think of it as you work through it. :)

  2. Hey!
    Classes start in the 21st.

You bet on it! Great idea btw. Every day I study something I'll post a sentence in japanese and mandarin. And will keep you updated on my tests, teachers, subjects. As I learn new grammar I'll also let you know of the difficulties I'll have.

In the first semester I'll have Modern japanese I, Modern Chinese I, Portuguese expansion in east Asia and Popular culture of China.

    Thanks!

  3. Sounds like a really cool schedule! I'm guessing Modern Japanese/Chinese are language classes? What level will they be at?

  4. Also, before I forget, you should also post pictures of your handwriting! It's always fun to see how other people write, and it's also fun to see how your own handwriting changes over time.

  5. Yup, those are language classes. I'll have japanese twice a week and mandarin everyday. It be basil level for now. The japanese I'll know at the end of college might be around JLPT 3. LOL!

Sure! I'll post my handwriting! I'll post my tests too! I ougt to remember all this. If I happen to have any asian friends (and I will, at least when I go to my masters degree in China) I'll post pics.

Thanks! You sure come up with great ideas!
