Yes. I got to kanji 440, but I'm having some trouble with a particular kanji, 商(dealer), because I seem not to visualize any decent vivid image in my mind. I hate when this happens.
Let me see if I can find a story..."the dealer stood up and sold for mouths. That's human trafficking!"
After having completed 500 kanji I will go back and start reviewing those 500 with the help of 漢字コーヒー.
I get sad because I could easily have done way more than 39 kanji. I believe 100 kanji a day were possible. I distract myself a lot while studying. I'm ought to download some japanese traditional music to listen while I study because if I listen to 浜崎あゆみ I end up concentrating on the song instead of the kanji.
